Job description:

Realise the commercial objectives of ELCO on the entire Belgian territory, with focus on Brussels and Wallonia (backup for Flanders) in the different market segments within the ELCO activities, by building an optimal commercial relationship with the customers. Commercial objectives are focussed on turnover, gross margin, volumes, market share and DSO.
The function reports to the Sales Manager.


The Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Realising the commercial objectives for the Commercial Business segment
  • Set up of sales plan in collaboration with Sales Manager
  • Visiting and promoting customers: project installers, specifiers, architects, housing corporations …
  • Prospecting to increase the number of projects
  • Translate the business model of Elco towards the different target groups
  • Introduce new products and techniques
  • Make use of product - and company documentation
  • Apply the prices and conditions of ELCO, with the different customer groups
  • Inform all relevant customers at the right time
  • Collect relevant information concerning the market: prices, promotions, publicity campaigns, actions
  • Collect relevant information concerning the competitive companies and products
  • Ensure permanent availability by phone or email
  • Technical support to the market
  • PR function at meetings, openings, exhibitions …
  • Developing new sales opportunities and pro-active search for new projects
  • Follow up of projects and special offers
  • Preparing and making sales offers, if necessary, with the collaboration of the Solutions Center
  • Prepare complete sales files and technical description for prescribers in collaboration with the Solution Center
  • Do the necessary sales administration (weekly planning and weekly sales reports in CRM system, special documents,…).
  • Back-up of colleagues if necessary



Profile

Education: Technical formation preferably in heating

Experience:

  • Sales experience of minimum 3 years is mandatory
  • Experience of the heating business is mandatory (HVAC)
  • Experience with the Engineer Bureau is a must

Skills/expertise

  • Sales training followed
  • Commercial feeling
  • Technical feeling in commercial business is a must

  • Language
  • French and Dutch good professional knowledge
  • English: professional knowledge

Technical skills

  • Installer education (heating) is an advantage
