As a Powerplant Life Cycle Engineer you will be responsible to establish in cooperation with the Powerplant Asset Manager, a maintenance concept & lifecycle model per engine type/APU type, taking into account specific powerplant Maintenance requirements/in-service experience, Lease requirements, operational & regional parameters/requirements, powerplant MRO maintenance contract principles.
By using these lifecycle cost models, you will look into optimization of the total powerplant lifecycle cost of the TUI fleet , by providing optimum powerplant (engine & APU) event planning in relation to leased and owned TUI Group aircraft & lease conditions.
About the job:
- Establish a Powerplant lifecycle plan per individual powerplant, which connects to the airframe lifecycle plan and also with cross-fleet optimization options
- Run the powerplant lifecycle cost model including technical & financial risk profiling;
- Optimizes the powerplant shop visit plan and shop visit workscope scenarios in order to reduce the lifecycle cost to an optimum during the lease/ownership term, including a constant review of the current and predictive costs of the powerplant shop visit;
- Set up event cost in powerplant life cycle cost model at aircrafts Entry into Service, for an optimization of financial compensations at aircraft End of Lease;
- Set up and modelling different Powerplant scenarios and event cost definition in accordance to Aircraft leases and OEM shop visit contracts definitions;
- Support an overview of all E&M related engine lease requirements from Aircraft lease contract, sharing the required information with the relevant teams and ensure compliance with the lease obligations and requirements;
- Continuously seeks and identifies opportunities to generate financial benefit through powerplant activties;
- Undertake projects and any other reasonable tasks within E&M department as well as when required by the business.
About You:
- You have a bachelor or master degree in Aeronautics (or equal through experience)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skills;
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Able to manage challenging deadlines and effectively prioritise own workload;
- Effective communicator and collaborator;
- You have good communication skills in English;
