About your role

As pricing manager you own the core models for commodity and pricing including the communication to stakeholders. You ccontribute to the pricing decision-making within the organisation in order to meet the strategic objectives.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Analyse ongoing Pricing & Profit performance and identify new pricing opportunities.
  • Build and analyse market intelligence as input to the pricing decisions.
  • Forecasting revenue based on market trends, production cost, profit margins and sales volumes.
  • Collaborate and maintain relationships with internal partners (marketing, sales...) in order to efficiently advise them regarding pricing and discounts and ensure integrated plus profit maximizing approach to the market.
  • Support sales manager to translate results from models into practical format for business to use them in price negotiations.
  • Develop and improve pricing processes and tools, maintain & upgrade and pricing models in order to optimize the organisation’s pricing decisions.
  • Report directly to the Controlling Director and working very closely with our Manager Director Europe and Sales Directors.

Make the difference

  • University degree preferably in an economic or marketing field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional work experience as commercial controller, business controlling. Sales experience is a plus.
  • Speaking fluent English and minimum good knowledge of Dutch.
  • Ability to work autonomously with strong problem solving skills.
  • Pricing experience and/or additional broader product or commercial experience preferred.
  • Pragmatic, action-oriented and impact driven.
  • Be able to effectively communicate with, and challenge sales leadership teams.
