Mission and Key Tasks
As our Product Manager for the Femcare category you will:
- Manage and deploy the category vision (shopper, consumer and market trends) & be the category expert
- Identify and develop ideas to products & concepts based on consumer needs or insights, understanding of competitive landscape and divisional strategies, diagnosing the opportunity to make the best fit-for purpose, tangible innovation development for European market
- Translate consumer needs into technical KPI’s for R&D development: partner with R&D to align on innovation pipeline, integrating technical and commercial objectives (product features, marketing claims, consumer qualification, business goals), defining consumer research objectives (quantitative and qualitative) and desired deliverables for success criteria and lead execution accordingly, while tracking innovating research budget of the category…
- Lead the commercial part of the business case of divisional innovation projects: gather market intelligence, set-up the commercial strategy, prepare a profitability assessment, defend the business case before the Innovation Board to get approval, track the performance of the innovation launch…
- Manage and implement the short, mid and long term Innovation Plan for the category for the division in colaboration with the R&D and local teams
- Develop and deploy easy to use category & initiative toolkits for key projects in collaboration with E-commerce Team and Consumer and Marketing Insights Manager to enable excellent commercialization across regions (consumer story telling, performance icons, 3D product downloads, in-store communication advise, consumer qualification data…)
- Closely support top customers teams with retailer brand marketing via recommendations on product offering, innovation pipeline, powerful concept sells and marketing mix
- Track, recommend and implement product portfolio optimizations for the division in collaboration with Group Product Portfolio Team
- Implement supply chain optimizations for the division in collaboration with Group Supply Chain
- Master degree in Business Management, Marketing or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in Marketing, Category Management or Product Management
- Experience in multinational FMCG companies is a plus
- Results oriented attitude and

- Entrepreneurial while able to give a strategical approach to projects
- Excellent collaboration, communication and influencing skills
- Analytical mindset with a problem solving approach
- P&L knowleadgeable and quantitative approach
- Able to prepare high quality internal reporting and presentations
- Fluent in English
