Product Owner, Multi-Disciplinary

You will be joining the Production Tribe within the Group Technology Services. Group Technology Services (GTS) plans, builds and runs the global infrastructure of Euroclear, and is additionally responsible for the IT service management to the operating entities of the various Group markets. Group Technology Services operates its IT systems and IT services in such a way that, at an appropriate and benchmarked cost level, it can deliver the agreed levels of service to support the requirements of the business processes, for both normal operations and during disaster recovery.

The main responsibility of the team is to own the ServiceNow platform at Euroclear, ensure high-availability of the hosted services, including reporting, maintain a good balance between market standards and Euroclear customization needs and drive the projects involving the platform.

Role & responsibilities:

• Optimize and professionally manage the ServiceNow team that is centre of excellence within Euroclear,
• Manage a team of IT professionals to take holistic responsibility of product backlog by maximising value,
• Establish a sourcing model with the right balance between internal and variable workforce,
• Liaise with application vendor and ensure market practices are observed,
• Take accountability of modular architecture that allows development and absorption of various ServiceNow modules while ensuring consistent architecture approach,
• Make sure security, business resilience, architecture roadmap and user experience aspects are taken care of as well as there is development of new functionalities,
• Contribute to professionalism of IT and business functions by providing a stable and scalable process platform,
• Improve the Agile Way of Working, create transparency on the backlog, velocity and planning,
• Anticipate, identify and assess the latest technologies.
• Build relationships, both internally and externally, with key stakeholders at all levels

Required qualifications:

• You have worked for more than 10 years in the IT Software industry and have proven experience working with outsourcers in an hybrid model (internal, external: on-off-near shore)
• You have experience with ServiceNow and main hosted processes such ITSM, especially in the Finance industry context.
• You have a strong experience in the Agile way of working, DevOps implementation, Product Owner and Scrum Master roles.
• Clear team leadership capability/experience and ability to install confidence.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• You have experience in handling standard & non-standard situations with low level of certainty, covering multiple and new domains of expertise.
• You are a strategic and creative thinker, result-driven with proven track of records, self-motivated and proactive, open and welcoming to change, and work comfortably in a constantly evolving environment.
• You are able to provide direction to the team and stakeholders, you have Strategic agility, Self-reflection and are inspiring/engaging.
• You communicate clearly and maintain positive professional relationships with all internal and external stakeholders

Good to have:

• Experience in the Financial Services industry and understanding of the complex regulatory environment is a plus.
• A broad knowledge of Euroclear IT infrastructure and good knowledge of Euroclear business is an asset.
• Knowledge of ITIL/COBIT and experience in the IT Operations scope.
• Knowledge of cloud solutions & cloud security.
