Product Sales Engineer - Defense & Security (Kortrijk) (f/m/x)

displays and consoles for submarines, ships and military vehicles

You support the Sales organization in complex solution selling by providing in-depth technical expertise about Consoles, Rugged Computing, Smart Displays.

You will demonstrate + advise the client about usage, specs and questions about shocks and vibrations, challenges in high/low temperature (heater option) and high/low-pressure environments, touchscreen technologies, the impact on software and configurations, etc.

Main responsibilities

  • Technical support to Sales for all product lines
  • In alignment with the Product Manager commit (to customer) for non-standard product features
  • Support of obsolescence management
  • Reviews technical and product related TnC’s/SOW
  • Supports technical demonstrations to customers
  • Develop and provide product definitions based on customer requirements
  • Review and approve engineering changes in agreement with Product Management

Required education, experience and competencies

  • Master’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education in the field of engineering
  • Commercial Flair
