Janssen-Cilag is recruiting a Product Specialist Gastroenterology, located in Belgium, region Brussels, Hainaut, Charleroi.The Product Specialist ensures that the doctor-specialist is well informed about our products, so the doctor can make an adequate choice about their use for the right patient.
By providing information to the physician they stimulate the operating results as well as the recovery and quality of life of many people struggling with a serious disease.
They work closely and cross-functionally with other medical and project teams and act as a coordinator for the accounts in their region.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a good, professional relationship with doctors and other relevant customers in the hospital with the aim of making them ambassadors for our products and our company.
- Perform qualitative, scientifically informative interviews that meet the needs of the customer.
- Analyze the sector, determine growth opportunities and set up, discuss, implement and assess targeted account plans.
- Continuously evaluate current and future customer needs and sharing this information with the wider team.
- Participate in the development and implementation of innovative projects that contribute to the customer.
- Coordinate meetings for physicians, which enable a better understanding of our products.
- Apply all regulations on compliance and ethics in the healthcare industry.
Qualifications
- Professional Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (commercial, business or bio/para-medical).
Experience and Skills:
- Experience in a sales role in pharma
- Excellent communication skills (face to face and digital)
- Ability to establish positive relationships with key customers
- Ability to build respect and trust with customers
- Passion to work with concrete objectives and to achieve goals
- High degree of intellectual and commercial curiosity
