Our Local Marketing W-EU dream-team is looking for a competent new member to take-on full responsibility for the strategy, product knowledge, collaboration, execution and measurement of PR & Media campaigns, with the goal of building and enhancing a favorable image of our company with employees, internal clients, potential customers and the public.
Key responsibilities
Being a Product Specialist includes the following responsibilities, amongst others:
  • Analyze and interpret market data to identify opportunities while minimizing adverse trends
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership on products, process development and improvement, quality systems and regulatory oversight
  • Partner and stay connected with cross functional teams including insights, sales, marketing, regulatory, core R&D, customer facing technical team
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff
  • Assess and evaluate all new worldwide projects within the assigned business unit and turn them into practical opportunities
  • Analyze the existing portfolio of brands and products for the assigned business unit, harmonize and propose optimizations
  • Provide scientific support to our Brand Affiliates for the product portfolio
  • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
  • Serve as the dedicated spokesperson and product specialist for the company in the assigned region (West Europe), effectively representing our brand and showcasing in-depth knowledge
Your profile
  • Master’s degree or other post-secondary degree in cosmetics chemistry, pharmacology technology, chemistry, human and medical nutrition or another related field
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar role
  • You are fluent in French and English. Any additional language is a plus
  • You have a strong technical background as well as a strong affinity for marketing (OTC/ Cosmetics/FMCG)
  • You have excellent knowledge of cosmetics, medicines, food supplements and medical devices and their legal and regulatory aspects
  • Experience working in applied cosmetics formulation
  • Affinity for the beauty and wellbeing industry
  • Understanding of production technologies used for final cosmetics applications
  • Understanding of ingredient functionality for development of cosmetics and food applications
  • Proven track record in project management, consistently delivering successful outcome
  • Ability to analyze complex and often conflicting information to effectively solve problems
  • Build partnerships and collaborate with other departments to meet shared objectives
  • Hold self and other accountable to meet commitments
  • You are a well-organized communicator who is not scared by public speaking
