Position Summary:

Bentley Systems is seeking a talented individual to become a valued member of our successful Reality Modeling and Mapping team as a Reality Modeling – Consultant with a focus on our mobile mapping solution. A Consultant plays an important role in delivering consulting and project services, supporting our users with their requests, and delivering product training to advance user knowledge of our products.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Deliver consulting, configuration, and training services on Bentley’s Reality Modeling applications to existing and new software users specifically in mobile mapping.
• Provide support and services toward the migration of our software users to Reality Modeling applications specifically OrbitGT and ContextCapture.
• Assist in preparation of technical proposals and benchmarks.
• Perform software product training activities, project assessments and reviews.
• Collaborate with product development groups to continually improve the quality of the product based on user input.
• Serve as the primary liaison between company and software users.
• Answering user requests over the phone, email and web portal.
• Create learning content in the form of written documentation, videos and webinars for our products.

What You Bring to The Team:

• Survey and Mapping degree or equivalent.
• A strong knowledge and track record in 3D mapping workflows are required.
• Minimum 2 year’s industry experience in a 3D mapping role is preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically will be needed on occasions.
• Experience with the following Bentley software is preferred: OrbitGT, ContextCapture and Descartes. Experience with other related industry reality capture software such as, TopoDOT Leica CloudWorx, Magnet Collage is beneficial.
• Experience with SAP IC (Interaction Center) is beneficial.
• Fluency in English is required. Fluency in German and/or French is desired but not required.
• Knowledge of photogrammetry and engineering design is beneficial.
• Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong user facing skills
• Ability to learn and effectively demonstrate, configure, and consult on the Bentley OrbitGT and ContextCapture solutions.
• Ability to work on significant professional services projects with little supervision and lead others when needed.
• Experience with and knowledge of mobile mapping capture, analysis and consumption workflows.
