Your future role

  • As Production Manager, you will be leading, coaching and developing the production teams for the Brussels plant.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the execution, control and reportingof all production and warehouse activities to provide a safe, responsive and reliable service at committed costs.
  • As a Production Manager, you will also be actively involved in continuous improvement projects, reducing production costs and minimizing WIP, finished goods and raw material inventory, and recommending and defining production capabilities enhancements.
  • You will be leading an ambitious project, driving lean processes and discipline throughout the organisation, managing interactions with the union delegates.
  • To ensure that projects meet deadlines and objectives, you will liaise between different departments, dealing with a large level of NPD projects and high seasonality, while being a key partner with Engineering for new product development and industrialization.

The profile we are looking for:

  • You are graduated from a Master’s Degree in Engineering (a specialization in Food Science would be a plus)
  • You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in production/engineering (manufacturing / SC)
  • You have advanced knowledge of ERP system (AX) and in Excel
  • You have a good knowledge of production processes, warehouse execution activities, safety systems, quality systems, and a solid knowledge of inventory and warehouse management
  • You have proven ability to manage people in an organization across multiple teams and shifts
  • You have strong experience in change management, Lean/6 Sigma, project management and visual management
  • You have experience in the field of social consultation and trade unions
  • You are fluent in French & English (Dutch skills would be a plus)
