Primrose Laboratories based in Torhout, is looking for a Production Manager to join our team. We produce, develop and distribute plant-based health products (food supplements). Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will own & evaluate the entire production process. He/she will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. He/she will also run quality assessment to ensure customer satisfaction.

This full-time position is not an administrative job. You are closely involved with all productions ‘in the field’ and help out together with our production staff where necessary. You are responsible for drawing up, communicating and following up the production planning. You manage the stock, purchase raw materials worldwide and maintain contact with suppliers (a thorough command of English and French is necessary). Everything from logistics to technical maintenance of machines also falls under your remit. After digitally processing the production orders, you also keep track of the evolution of the production cost price, cost price calculation, and look at where production optimisation and process improvement are possible. You follow up on and further implement the quality control system (sampling and entrance checks), and are the main responsible for safety and prevention.

• Lead and monitor quality assessments to ensure customer satisfaction (SLA’s)
• Maintain a safe production environment
• Coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholders

• Digital processing of orders, production and deliveries

Your profile

You are a team player, responsible, independent, initiator & problem solver, punctual & organisationally strong.

• You have a solid working experience in an operations/production environment
• You can work fluently with specific computer programmes for the purchase and management of raw materials
• You communicate (writing and speaking) fluently in Dutch, French and English
• You have a passion for machines and all technical aspects
• You have a strong sense of responsibility
• An affection for health and phytotherapy, herbal medicine is a plus
• Knowledge of HACCP standards and experience in the food sector is a plus
• You live max. 45 minutes from our company in Torhout

Employment conditions
