Project Finance Officer

Who are we?

Parkwind N.V. is an independent green energy company that develops, finances, and operates offshore wind farms. With more than a decade of experience and 771 megawatts under operational management, Parkwind has four operational windfarms in Belgium and is currently developing projects in Germany (Arcadis Ost 1 – 247 MW) and Ireland (Oriel Windfarm – 330 MW). Parkwind’s global ambitions include several international joint development partnerships and pioneering R&D projects.

Your role

In light of the further expansion of Parkwind, we are looking to reinforce the Corporate Finance team with a Project Finance Officer. His/her task will be focused on managing the existing financings and supporting the financing of new offshore wind parks in and outside Belgium.

Your role will contain the following responsibilities:

  • Financial modelling, structuring and scenario analysis;
  • Banks and shareholders reporting, including management of covenants and waiver requests;
  • Preparation of information memorandum and due diligence reports for new projects;
  • Support the negotiation and management of financing agreements;
  • Support the negotiation and management of power purchase agreements;
  • Look after funding and treasury operations of Parkwind.

Who are we looking for?

  • Master’s degree in Finance and/or Engineering;
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in project or corporate finance;
  • Strong interest in renewable energy;
  • Good communication and negotiation skills and a sharp analytical mind;
  • Being comfortable with complex Excel models and the willingness to further develop this;
  • Hands on, responsible, structured and keeping an eye on the bigger picture;
  • Team-player;
  • Fluent in English and Dutch or French.
