Your Profile
- You have a university degree
- You are fluent in English (TME business language) both in writing and in oral
- 4-5 years working experience preferably in product planning or communication
- Computer literate and experience with social media channels
- Open-minded character, team oriented
- Able to work by objectives in autonomy, strong organisational skills
- Interest in the product knowledge and a clear understanding of the needs of press and social influencers
- Courage: you are ready to let go of the easy path to reach challenging targets

Toyota Product Communication is responsible for all Toyota product & motorsports related interaction with the Press. This is covering from press releases, press kits to product presentations during all press touch points, like static and dynamic launch events, as well as motorsports activities. This interaction is for traditional earned medias (like automotive and lifestyle press) as well as increasingly more towards new social media (earned and paid).
Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate Product communication for own projects:
- Development of Toyota PR Road map (strategy) and product communications action plan based on product role & positioning
- Ensure efficient activations by setting, controlling and timely adjusting KPIs (budget efficiency, reach, media tonality, key messages delivery)
- Preforming consistent analysis and improvement cycles of conducted activities in line with achieved results, future goals, business environment and ever-changing industry trends
- Anti-crisis communications: preparation of communication guidelines (statements and Q&As) on complicated product-related topics for media relations
- Coordination of own projects budget with timely payment to suppliers & accurate budget following
- Maximise synergy with Product Management, Marketing and Corporate Communication by aligning on communication activities and potential workload sharing
- Follow development and production of press release and press kits, including product information supports, social wall and minisite:
- Collect accurate and up-to-date content from product colleagues, coordinate the creation of the copy text in English and develop visual assets to support product news
- Develop briefs for copywriters for press releases based on factual product data and product strategy including positioning, business goals and required key messaging
- Ensure proper planning to review with related divisions and to meet set deadlines
- Share content with local distributor’s PR managers
- Follow development and production press presentations and coordination of Dynamic Press Launches (DPL) and other static press conferences
- Product support events calendar & events concepts development based on launch planning, business environment & required product pillars support
- Collect accurate and up-to-date content from product, marketing and R&D colleagues
- Ensure proper planning to review with related divisions and to meet set deadlines
- Prepare presentations and events in-line with marketing and product positioning to be delivered in an engaging way
- Liaise with event team for all event specific items
- Analyse and prepare report of press coverage and share with internal stakeholders
- Develop improvement plan and actions for further activities based on gained experience
