Responsibilities Will Include
  • Preparation of Individual Project WBS Structures in line with the company standard WBS Structure.
  • During Project Engineering Phases Communicating with Project Team members and where holding team Interactive schedule planning meetings to determine key project milestones and inter dependencies.
  • Integration of Contractor Construction schedules during Construction Phases.
  • Preparation of fully linked schedules, with no open ends.
  • Identification and Presentation of Project Critical Paths.
  • Benchmark checking of Schedule timelines against other similar projects.
  • Updating of Schedules and Reporting of Actual Progress vs Planned Progress.
  • Implementation of Construction stage Earned Value Reporting.
  • Issue of Look Ahead reports.
  • Incorporation of Change Orders and Report on their effect on the Project Timeline.
  • Support to Project Controls for Planning and Schedule related activities, e.g. Resource Planning, and Procurement Planning.
  • Working on several concurrently active projects.
  • The Scheduler will have an understanding of the inter-dependencies within and between the Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Commissioning phases of Projects.
  • Preparation of Reports in Graphical, Narrative and Numeric formats.
  • Conformance with Company standards and Procedures.
Functie-eisen
  • Candidates should have a third level qualification in a relevant discipline and typically 5+ years’ experience in their discipline area.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary design office or equivalent client engineering team preferred.
  • Experience in the Detail Scheduling of each and every phase of Projects is preferred.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical and/or High Technology Projects is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, multitasking and communication skills.
  • Self-starter capable of working on own with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
  • Computer literate.
