Lead high-impact engineering projects in biotech-where your GMP expertise and process know-how drive innovation on-site.

Hobson Prior is seeking a Project & Process Lead to join a biotech organization on a contract basis. This role requires working fully on-site and focuses on supporting the engineering team with various projects due to the rapid growth of the site. The ideal candidate will have experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a strong understanding of process utilities and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support projects from start to finish, including planning, engineering, construction, and final handover.
• Assist in managing larger projects by leading specific teams or parts of the project.
• Conduct feasibility and engineering studies while coordinating with contractors and internal experts.
• Manage utilities such as HVAC and energy systems.
• Supervise construction and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with GMP standards, safety protocols, and change control processes.
• Handle work permits and maintain safety measures on-site.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Knowledge of project management and the full project lifecycle.
• Understanding of utilities like HVAC and energy systems.
• Familiarity with construction and commissioning processes.
• Experience in managing people and driving change effectively.
• Strong grasp of GMP, including change control and area classification.
• Ability to manage safety protocols and work permits.
