Python Developer - Leading Streaming Platform


Server-side Python Developer required for the Belgian office of a highly tech-driven media / streaming service.


The successful candidate will be building a Greenfield recommendations engine which will be used across multiple products within the business to ensure the search experience is as personalised as possible for their growing user base.


You’d be working in one of the flagship teams within the business, following DevOps principles and using a next-gen, cloud-based tech stack to deliver a high volume, highly scalable platform.


The successful candidate will possess some / all of the following skills / experience:


  • Python
  • AWS
  • DevOps mindset and experience with related tools like Docker, Kubernetes, etc
  • Scalability experience
  • Agile / TDD / unit testing experience
  • Any search experience is desirable, particularly Elasticsearch
  • Computer Science / STEM degree is preferred
