Are you passionate about logistics and fascinated by quality and the drive to achieve it? Then the position of Quality Specialist in Contract Logistics could be just the right fit for you! You will be working for one of the world’s leading logistics companies. and will be responsible for 2 of our contract logistics sites in Tessenderlo.

Your Role

The Quality Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality management system of the sites to meet both internal and external requirements. You manage and support all existing certifications, Quality process controls, KPI’s, and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities

  • Stay updated on changes in relevant quality standards (ISO 9001, HACCP, etc.) and ensure they are correct and pragmatic implemented within the company.
  • Conduct internal audits, manage external audits, participate in client assessments, and oversee supplier audits. Set up action plans based on findings and report results to management.
  • Keep documentation related to the quality management system up-to-date.
  • Identify weaknesses in the Quality System and implement improvement measures in collaboration with the responsible departments.
  • Maintain an effective Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA) program, ensuring thorough Root Cause Analysis and ongoing evaluation of corrective actions.
  • Track and report quality performance through KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure timely reporting to management.
  • Providing quality advice in new/existing projects, so that quality can be incorporated into daily operations

Your Skills And Experiences

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent;
  • 1+ work experience in a Quality related position;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint…),
  • Very good verbal and written knowledge of English and Dutch required.
  • Quality and/or regulatory knowledge; Quality experience in a food/feed environment is a plus
  • Knowledge of ISO standards,
  • Strong affinity with required customer quality standards;
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate on all levels, both internal and external
  • Affinity with various Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, six sigma,...)
