The Mobility and Materials, (M&M), Business is seeking a Regional Supply Chain Planner in support of our High Temperature Nylon(HTN), Specialty Nylon(SPN), and Rynite® business in EMEA. The Regional Supply Chain Planner supports end-to-end Supply Chain Performance to deliver a competitive advantage, partnering with regional business and operational managers to realize priorities, and acting as an active collaborator for the 0 to 6-month horizon.The successful candidate will be accountable for realization of the global supply plan within the region. Which includes responsiveness, flexibility, planning, and working capital effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Product Supply
- Champions customer focus and service within Operations and supply chain managing processes in the region.
- Identifies tactical options to 1) enhance SC performance, flexibility, reliability, quality and competitive advantage and 2) reduce risk
- Regionally leads and executes communications of supply chain and ops performance tracking and opportunity development in support of the global supply chain and managing processes
- Supports the SC processes across the business regional supply chains in support of business initiatives.
- Participates and suggest improvement initiatives, including tools and processes that accelerate improvement
- As needed supports the creation of effective new SC and product launch processes integrated with new product development priorities
- Business integration – Supply Chain lead within regional teams and associated managing processes.
- Cost management Production wheel management, MTO/MTS analysis and leadership,
- Lead project to improve LA import and restock processes.
- Inquiries from sales/business managers that require regional balancing to achieve
- Crisis priority management within the region including informing the business supply chain manager and escalating as appropriate.
- Master data management
- Supports the regional supervisor in developing asset schedulers and material planners
- Supports continuous improvement
- First line of support and investigation for regional inventory management.
- Thinks commercially, always looking for ways to create value for DuPont as a whole
- Uses different perspectives to view problems and opportunities
- Reinforces a resilient can-do mentality and pushes for bold actions to deliver on commitments and overcome roadblocks.
- Works collaboratively, values diversity, and respects individuals
- BS/BA Supply Chain, business, or technical field is required
- 3-5 Years Supply Chain or manufacturing experience required
- Strong collaboration skills required.
- APICS CPIM / CSCP Certification strongly preferred (must be obtained on the job within 18 months).
- SAP/ERP competency / working knowledge strongly preferred.
- General business acumen and supply chain acumen
- General base in IBP technology
