This product has embarked on the A.I. journey, and it’s ready to scale. The only challenge? The founders aren’t experienced in Enterprise sales. Sure, they’ve made sales, and the company is showing great revenue, the product has lots of traction. But they haven’t taken off yet. Reason why? Never invested in sales, only in the product, which is outstanding.

They’ve received funding, and are now ready for their next phase. This is why they’re looking for you, to join their team as a Sales Director. This opportunity is for you:

Title: Sales Director

Location: Ghent (Belgium)

WFH policy: 2/3 days office in the beginning. Flexible after.

Size and functions of local team:

This Sales Director initially has a team of 1 AE, and potential headcount for an SDR. The founders that are currently driving sales will also report to this Sales Director.

Role description:

Hands-on enterprise seller who can take this proposition further to market. There will be groundwork in the beginning, and since the team is small needs to be someone who’s actively involved in sales cycles. Need certain seniority, as this person will also be scaling the team over time. See ’outcomes’ for specific points that you will to work on.

Must haves:

  • Affinity with product and industry
  • SaaS experience
  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience
  • Experience with 6/7 figure deals
  • Capable of creating processes/playbooks/structure etc, and able to scale a team over time.
  • Able to coach the founders and assist them in enterprise sales

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in food sector
  • Experience in US sales (Their biggest growth market)
  • Leadership experience

Salary range: Up to €180K base + Commission (tbd, needs to be co-created) + Meaningful equity

  • 4th: Business case, incl. board

Specific outcomes for this SD:

  • Currently dealing with R&D departments, want to get C-level involved in deals.
  • Make a shift from Services to license sales/recurring revenue (and help co-create suitable contracts for license selling)
  • Current POC are 25-50K, they need to go to 250K+, deals expand to €3-5mio ARR —> Enterprise seller needed that knows how to sell a strong POC with upfront agreements and expectations so that it has more potential to renew and expand.
