Product Specialist (Low Voltage Drives)

My client is a global technology leader serving industries, infrastructure and machine builders with world-class drives and soft starters.
The Role
Working in the Drive Products sales team, you will be working with internal teams to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, you will perform various activities to assist in the development, launch and profitability of low voltage frequency converters (drives) in Zaventem, Belgium.
The Responsibilities
+ Helping to resolve customer issues with their low voltage drives selection — which may involve visiting customer sites.
+ Identifying new product developments or enhancements and creating innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
+ Delivering training in new products to internal teams and customers.
+ Preparing price lists and quotes based on customer specifications.
+ Preparing reports on market, product and competitor activities for the sales and marketing team.
+ Working with colleagues to define marketing plans and tools, while promoting sales activities.
The Person (essential)
+ 2+ years of experience in industrial sales, working in a technical sales support position.
+ Interest in marketing and sales strategy.
+ Knowledge of and interest in electrical motors and frequency converters.
+ Self-motivation, curiosity, and a desire to learn about new technologies.
+ A collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
+ A degree in electrical engineering or equal in experience.
+ Knowledge of Dutch, English and French are required in word and writing.
+ Driver’s license required.
