We are currently looking for a Sales Engineer who thrives in consulting and helping our network of partners in transforming homeowner spaces into favorite places.Your challengesJoining VELUX you will be a part of a dedicated team focused on selling our solutions remotely through our ecosystem of partners. You will be working in close conjunction with our internal departments, technical, customer service, after-sales services and the Marketing team with the goal of influencing as many homeowners as possible through appealing and attractive solutions. While this can happen in multiple ways, your core challenge will be focused on maintaining and developing commercial relationships with a portfolio of existing customers. This mainly consists of installers, usually roofers, but also architects in your region. And also communicating to these professional partners how our solutions create desirable and healthy living environments, while also being attractive for our partners to promote.In addition, your primary tasks will be to :
  • Choose a group of prospects that you proactively meet to help them increase their sales with VELUX, based on quantified analyses of your customer portfolio
  • Listen to our customers’ needs and identify opportunities to help them grow sustainably with VELUX
  • Respond to market demand by ensuring a quick and efficient follow-up
  • Provide technical support related to our product range (windows and accessories) to our customers, as well as to training centers and technical schools
  • Participate in various technical-commercial events and professional construction fairs where you make new contacts and detect new opportunities
  • Monitor your market to understand the challenges and to continuously better position the VELUX brand. You take into account both the online and offline environment.
Your qualificationsYou are enthusiastic and share your passion for our products and our strategy. You make contact very easily and you know how to convince your conversation partner like no other. You are strong in providing service, showing empathy, you are autonomous, organized and result-oriented.Moreover, we expect that :
  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in an economic field with a first experience in the construction sector or in a B2B sector
  • You are flexible and open to occasionally work evenings and weekends
  • You have a strong affinity with the construction sector in the broadest sense of the word
  • You have an affinity with new technologies and new means of communication
  • You are Dutch-speaking, knowledge of French and English is a plus
