Punch Powertrain is a multinational, headquartered in Sint-Truiden, with a strong presence in Europe and China. As an independent automotive supplier we develop and manufacture a complete portfolio of powertrain solutions for the passenger car segment (conventional, hybrid and full electric). Our innovative products provide excellent driving dynamics, enhanced comfort, fun of driving and an ever improving fuel economy.

For the Finance department we are looking for:

Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of two legal entities annual report and quarterly and EFI information to workers council
• Lead audit process of two legal entities
• Calculation of tax position for two legal entities
• Calculation Intercompany Company recharge of multiple subsidiaries
• Review, support and provide guidance to the local accounting team during month end closing
• Support and coordinate subsidiaries entities statutory and tax filing requirement (execution is done by local finance)
• Execute, monitor and issue resolution on group financial statements consolidation
• Monitor and coordinate month end closing schedule and quality of subsidiaries
• Review balance sheet items and substantiation documentation
• Monitor and drive account receivable collection and aging
• Involve in improvement projects in the Group accounting team

Profile:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in accountancy A to Z and tax/VAT knowledge a plus.
• IFRS and Belgium GAAP knowledge
• You have a good knowledge of MS office.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Excellent organizational ability with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment under continuous development
• Knowledge of SAP and SAP BPC
• Good communication and cooperation skills
• Very good analytical skills
