As an ideal candidate, you are a knowledgeable EIA Design Engineer ready to take on significant responsibilities under the guidance of a dedicated Project Manager. If you have a passion for delivering technical excellence and enjoy working on dynamic projects, this opportunity is tailored for you.

  • You translate client requirements into a technical design for E&I and Automation hardware for industrial projects from concept to execution phase.
  • You ensure that the electrical diagrams are produced correctly by the E&I draftsman.
  • You make minor changes to designs using your knowledge of EPLAN P8.
  • You create and validate reports including cable calculations, ATEX, heat dissipation, and SIL.
  • You provide advice regarding risk analyses and ensure that measures are incorporated into the design.
  • You prepare technical specifications, requests, and assess received quotes.
  • You oversee the work of internal teams and external partners/contractors, ensuring design quality and adherence to timelines.

Requirements

  • You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical direction such as Electrical, Automation, or Electromechanics.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience with CANECO / Eplan P8 software.
  • You possess strong experience in industrial projects in the field of E&I, ideally around 7 years.
  • You have knowledge of applicable regulations and directives related to E&I (e.g., ATEX, SIL, LVD).
  • You have a strong understanding of risk analysis techniques.
  • You are proficient in Dutch and English and have a basic knowledge of German and French for effective communication.
  • You hold a valid VCA certification.
