Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer (React Native & Developer)

Job Description:

As a Senior React Native & Node.js Developer, you will play a pivotal role in developing a cutting-edge software product that facilitates data-driven insights for transport companies. This position, based in Belgium, operates on a hybrid work model, with two days per week working in our office alongside a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Software Development:
    • Architect, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions using React Native and Node.js technologies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components, ensuring high performance and usability.
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance, mentoring junior developers and contributing to technical discussions and decision-making processes.
    • Drive the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies within the team.
  • Product Enhancement:
    • Contribute innovative ideas for product improvements, feature enhancements, and optimizations based on a deep understanding of user needs and industry trends.
    • Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Agile Development:
    • Work within an Agile and Scrum framework, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure efficient project delivery.
    • Collaborate closely with the team to estimate, plan, and deliver high-quality software within project timelines.
  • Quality Assurance and Performance:
    • Conduct code reviews, implement automated tests, and ensure the overall quality, performance, and security of software solutions.
    • Identify and address technical debt, ensuring continuous improvement in code quality and system performance.
Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a senior developer, specializing in React Native and Node.js, preferably in a multinational project environment.
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions.
  • Strong expertise in front-end and back-end development, with proficiency in JavaScript, React Native, Node.js, and related technologies.
  • Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) with a focus on iterative development and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Located in Belgium and comfortable with a hybrid working model (2 days per week in-office).
