Agidens Process Automation is looking for a developer who has a soft spot for software implementation and development of add-ons using .NET. Are you familiar with C#, SQL server and Windows platform?

As a Senior Industrial ICT developer, your task will primarily consist of the development of MES solutions: software solutions that ensure quality and efficiency are built into the manufacturing process. These solutions are a combination of configuring an MES product complemented with customised software. You will contribute to both the configuration and the programming of the customised software, in production facilities based on functional requirements and user stories. You will be working in various industries, but mainly the food, beverages and fine chemicals. You are also responsible for defining and implementing the interfaces between the different automation levels and automation systems on a technical basis. You will report to the project manager of the projects you are working on.

Jobdescription?

• You are part of the project team implementing the MES software (.NET)
• You translate the customer requirements (made by a functional analyst) into a technical solution
• You test (in-house and on-site) applications, install, commission and document the applications
• You can develop in .NET customer specific add-ons around the standard products to fill in specific customer needs
• You will act as technical lead to support the junior developers/project engineers
• One of your tasks is to maintain and extend our installed base of installations

Your profile?

• You have strong communication skills
• You are honest, professional and eager to learn
• You have experience (+3 years) with C# , SQL server and Windows platform
• You like to work in a production environment (bulk liquid storage)
• Experience with UI and UX is a plus
• Experience with ISA-95 is a plus
• Experience with agile development (scrum), WPF, WCP, EF, ASP.NET, Angular is a plus
• Experience with Teamcity and Bitbucket is a plus
• You enjoy to make short business trips
• You are a team player
• You have a pragmatic approach to solving problems
• You have a strong analytical approach
• You are result oriented with a focus on quality and in time delivery
• You express yourself fluently in English (speaking and writing)
• Dutch speaking, reading and writing is appreciated
