We are looking to recruit a Senior Manager Supranationals.

This role will be part of the team managing our supply to Supranational Organisations (SNO). This role helps to deliver our Global Health ambition to expand access to our vaccines and medicines in low and low middle income countries by developing access strategies and business solutions with and through Supranational organisations, ensuring sustainability & minimal profitability of GSK Supranational business and delivering GSK impact, volume, financial and reputational targets.

Your Responsibilities

This role is the point of contact who leads interactions with internal stakeholders and Supranational Organisations related to supply to Supranational Organisations:
  • Lead contracting, demand planning and supply oversight for Tafenoquine and Albendazole, future Rx products and potentially some vaccines
  • Identify opportunities for responding to SNO needs, propose options and drive alignment for supply solutions to the departmental head, commercial teams/leads, local teams and governing bodies; with a special focus on Rx products for which global health access solutions must be strengthened/developed.
  • Contribute to Rx Manufacturing strategy for Global Health products in scope
  • Work closely with Scientific Affairs and Public Health Markets team (SAPH) to establish robust demand forecastLiaise and communicate adequately internally with global commercial functions, medical, regulatory affairs, legal, GCA, manufacturing and supply chain, and local regional teams to ensure good understanding of customer needs and operational alignment to ensure timely progress of deliverables for contracting and supply.
  • Represent SNO business in key functional business areas including Commercial teams, Manufacturing and Supply Chain, R&D, Regulatory, Medical, Finance etc.
  • Maintain relationship between GSK and Supranational organisations. Represent GSK with external parties such as UNICEF and WHO at different levels within these organisations.
  • Lead external discussions and projects together with Policy & Advocacy, SAPH team and LOCs (Local Operating Companies).
  • Working across boundaries to deliver sustained customer satisfaction, managing sensitivities, resolving and/or escalating outstanding actions/issues as required.
  • Oversee commercial Global Health activities for products in scope to guarantee compliance (eg. oversight of activities with Sanction Countries).
  • Act as a compliance document champion, work within the GSK’s compliance framework, document and systematically archive as required.
  • Lead & support ad-hoc supranational cross-functional projects.

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience: This role holder interacts extensively both internally and externally, representing the interests of GSK and customer adequately. As such exposure to external engagement, customer management, managing complexity, stakeholder and the internal matrix is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in dealing with UN organizations or large buying groups
  • Previous involvement in cross functional and multilateral projects
  • Ideally pharma LOC commercial, supply chain or market access experience
Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Strong ability to problem-solve and build creative solutions.
  • Proven record in building trusting business relationships and active stakeholder management.
  • Previous experience in a commercial role is a plus.
  • Proficiency level in English speaking and writing.
