For a new project, we are looking for a Senior Mould Engineer in the area of Ghent (BE).

Responsabilities:

  • Being responsible for the realization of multiple (sub-) mould engineering projects within the domain of Manufacturing / Development / Engineering from specifications to production using high quality technical knowledge ;
  • Participating in or being possibly responsible for the coordination of mould engineering projects / study projects within development, engineering and the production department with a view to product development, output and yield increases, quality improvements, feasibility analyses, and this from specification to production ;
  • Delivering not only high quality technical contribution but being also responsible for the preparation of a detailed action plan, budgets, investments, coordination with any project staff and respect of timing and budgets ;
  • Identifying the correct cause of mould engineering problems and from here, in consultation with the various departments, superiors and any subcontractors, coming to a plan of action in which methodology, cost price, timing and results of actions are highlighted to sustainably improve the engineering, development and production process ;
  • Following the technical evolution of product development, mould and injection moulding technology on the market to remain a "state of the art" competence center and developing and maintaining a network with external specialists;
  • Being responsible for organizing and maintaining a documentation system related to the above activities in line with the company’s quality standards and systems;
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable procedures and regulations.

Profile :

  • Industrial Engineer/A1 level (or equivalent through experience) ;
  • Technical knowledge in injection molding : engineering, process, machinery and peripheral equipment ;
  • Relevant experience : 3 - 5 years ;
  • Dutch and English fluent.
