The Opportunity:
As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for execution and delivery of Sitecore Product portfolio initiatives. You will be driving initiatives and features milestones, resolving x-team dependencies, reporting on team’s progress and issues, and working with engineering teams to achieve their roadmap goals and commitments. You will be driving process executions through Agile scaling framework SAFe, working with Product Management on backlog creation and prioritization, and guiding the teams through all phases of Agile development. As a member of APMO team you will be working on figuring out best PMO practices, tooling, processes, scaling techniques, improvements, and communication channels to ensure transparency and visibility into the Product portfolio.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage Program initiatives from conception to GA releases and post release maintenance
- Establish and communicate deliverables timelines and milestones within scaling methodologies and Agile Framework
- Report initiatives’ progress throughout various channels and means to ensure full transparency and clear understanding of current and upcoming work
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to facilitate architectural design discussions, planning sessions, drive estimation sessions, identify, and resolve x-dependencies and roadblocks
- Drive roadmap creation when necessary and manage delivery expectations from the team to the leadership level
- Coach leaders, teams, engineering, and product manager on APMO process, scaling techniques, and methodologies used
- Work with APMO team members on improving and adjusting APMO process, methodologies, and tool sets to accommodate Product Roadmap and team needs
What You Need to Succeed
- 6+ years of Agile Program management and Agile Scaling Experience
- Hands on experience and deep knowledge of SAFe framework. Experience with other Agile scaling framework is a plus
- PMO experience in highly dynamic tech environment with multi-phases initiatives and high complex x-team dependencies
- Proficient usage of requirements and issue tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOPS, and others
- Extensive experience with program roadmap tools and solutions (i.e. JIRA Advanced Roadmaps, Aha, Miro Roadmaps, etc.)
- Strong organizational and program management skills to manage a wide range of incoming requests and responsibilities
- Strong communication/presentation skills to effectively interact with teams and leadership
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:
- BA/BS degree or relevant experience
- Certificate(s) in PMP, SAFe, SCRUM preferred
