As a Simulation Engineer, you’ll work with a multidisciplinary team to develop groundbreaking fiberoptic telecommunications technologies. Your role involves supporting mechanical design through Finite Element Analysis and precision tolerance calculations, focusing on Datacenter connectivity applications.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct Finite Element Analysis and Precision Tolerance calculations for Datacenter connectivity applications
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on advanced technology development projects
  • If needed, aid with hands-on engineering testing and experimentation in a lab environment to validate the FEA
What we’re looking for

  • Master/PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis: Ansys or LSDyna, especially in nonlinear analysis, contact modelling and static analysis of metals, plastics and ceramics of micro – to mm parts
  • Strong skills in precision tolerance calculations, analytical modeling, and proficiency in 3D CAD (preferably Creo).
  • Familiarity with molding/manufacturing technologies and data processing/analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with lab testing and experimentation to validate designs and simulations.
