The role

As a Back-End Developer, your primary focus will be on shaping the digital landscape within the Custom Developments team. You’ll be engaged in crafting business-critical applications, laying the foundation for growth and driving further digitization and optimization of operational processes.

Key responsibilities

Undertake back-end development tasks utilizing Spring and Java 17.

Adhere strictly to the organization’s coding standards for back-end development.

Investigate and resolve technical back-end queries, providing insights into potential pitfalls and advantages of different technical solutions.

Collaborate on global and detailed estimations for Userstories in the development pipeline.

Possess a deep understanding of functional analyses and step in when clarity is required before commencing development.

Your profile

Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and boast relevant experience as a junior/medior (1-4 years) or senior developer ( > 4 years of experience - across diverse work environments).

Demonstrate a wealth of experience in Java, Spring Boot, with familiarity in Hibernate, JPA, and REST API.

Practical knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server is essential.

Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is advantageous.

Thrive in an Agile environment (Scrum).

Strong communicator with the ability to cultivate positive relationships.

Proactive, adaptive, and solution-oriented thinker.

Exhibit an organized and methodical working approach.

Familiarity with DevOps and/or React is considered an additional asset.
