Stan is an Australian streaming company which offers subscription to unlimited viewing of selected movies and TV shows. Originally due to launch in February 2015, it, instead, launched on Australia Day (the 26th of January) 2015.Stan is owned by StreamCo, which is a joint venture of Nine Entertainment Co. and Fairfax Media. Both these companies injected AU$50 million each into StreamCo in August 2014.
