Within Akkodis we are looking for a Supply chain planner medior for one of our clients in the region of Puurs. Our client is a global biotechnology company dedicated to treating, and one day curing, life-threatening diseases.

Scope of work:

  • Responsible for the production planning (manufacturing or packaging) of an assigned portfolio of products (brand and/or production/packaging line).
  • Responsible for Supply Assurance and Supply Chain performance of assigned portfolio of products (brand and/or production/packaging line).
  • Represent plant planning team in global and regional forums (for assigned product portfolio).
  • Monitor and manage inventory shelf-life and expiry dates minimizing write-offs whilst improving processes to avoid obsolescence.
  • Plan and implement launches and major product changes enabling business unit growth.
  • Perform root cause analysis of inventory deviations vs. targets and of inventory drivers and define improvement plans.
  • Serve as point of contact to several supply chain stakeholders in and out Puurs for any questions related to supply issues, resolution plans, inventory for assigned set of products.
  • Understand and analyse forecasts and develop production volume budgets.
  • Contribute to the completion of projects and manage own time to meet agreed targets and develop plans for activities on own projects

Experience:

  • 3+ years’ Experience and working knowledge of ERP systems (eg SAP, Kynaxis, …)
  • Knowledge of production and capacity planning, shop floor control, distribution planning and inventory control
  • Ability to observe patterns and trends in data, determining root cause of issues and drawing proper conclusions from analysis
  • Develop effective relationships with multiple stakeholders and quick grasp and understanding of complex situations involving many moving part
  • Fluent both written and verbally in Dutch and English
