This position is in Cargill’s food ingredients and bio-industrial business, where we anticipate trends around taste, nutrition and safety to innovate and provide solutions to manufacturers, retailers and foodservice companies.Job Purpose and ImpactThe Supply Planning & Scheduling Lead will supervise production schedulers, supply and inventory planners, leading all aspects of routine within the scheduling activities for the relevant business lines. In this role, you will lead a team that is responsible to control the planning schedule and material requirements to ensure that integrated End-to-End Supply Chain is managed according to the business performance indicators. The role is crucial to lead and development cross functional working team, being a valuable business partner and drive customer satisfaction.Key Accountabilities- Lead and develop a team of 8 people, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
- Robust knowledge and experience, define planning & inventory strategy across multiple production sites
- Coordinate scheduling process, maintain it and drive efficiency improvements projects
- Lead capacity scenario and make recommendation
- Lead the master production planning, material requirements planning and production scheduling metrics targets
- Review, publish and drive supply and inventory planning metrics target
- Conduct performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement.
- Being a member of the Supply Chain Management Team
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Vast experience in scheduling tools (e.g. INFOR AS)
- Fluent in English
- SAP experience
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
- Two years of supervisory experience
- Seven years of experience with at least three in supply and inventory planning.
- Data analytical skills & experiences
