A company active in the insurance sector is currently looking to hire a Team Leader to join their offices in Brussels.

Your main responsibilities as the new Team Leader will include:

Be responsible for the daily operational monitoring of your team in order to guarantee a correct service and the achievement of SLAs
Lead, motivate and coach your team, guide your team towards an optimal customer relationship
Conduct planning, operational and evaluation interviews with your employees, you support your employees in their development
Monitor the performance of your employees with the aim of guiding them, adjusting the work delivered in a qualitative manner and increasing efficiency and customer and relationship orientation
Collect, analyse, report and communicate information to enable smooth functioning within the team and the department on the one hand and as an input for the management when making decisions on the other
Be the contact point for your team members for contact and technical questions
Stimulate teamwork, create a close-knit team and organise team meetings
Document and participate in the improvement and renewal of the management process and strive to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness
Work closely and actively with your team leader and your department manager to achieve the department’s objectives

Your profile:

You have a Bachelor’s degree and have an excellent knowledge of property and casualty insurance products, as well as the relevant European legislation and directives
You have at least 5 years of experience in team management
You are fluent in Dutch and French

Your strengths:

You have a thorough knowledge of systems and word/excel
You are able to give constructive feedback with a focus on results and customer orientation
You have good organisational and communication skills
You are able to make decisions and are consistent
