Je wordt aangeworven voor bepaalde duur van 01/09/2022 tot en met 31/08/2023.

De mogelijkheid bestaat dat een onderwijsactiviteit tijdens de avond en/of op zaterdag kan worden ingericht.

Verlenging/benoeming is mogelijk.

De maximum toegekende anciënniteit uit de private sector en/of als zelfstandige bedraagt voor deze functie 10 jaar. Deze nuttige beroepservaring kan worden toegekend mits het voorleggen van de noodzakelijke bewijsstukken en na onderzoek van het volledig dossier. In zoverre van toepassing kan de anciënniteit vermeerderd worden met de anciënniteit uit de openbare sector.

The maximum seniority granted from the private sector and/or as a self-employed person for this position is 10 years. This useful professional experience may be recognised on presentation of the necessary supporting documents and after consideration of the full file. Where applicable, seniority may be increased by seniority in the public sector.

Het Digital Arts & Entertainment (DAE) curriculum behoort tot de beste in de wereld op het gebied van games & VFX onderwijs. Binnen het DAE curriculum leiden we Technical Artists (TA) op die in staat zijn om de kloof tussen artiest en ontwikkelaar te overbruggen.

Het DAE programma bestaat uit 6 majors: 3D Productie & VFX, Game Graphics Productie, Game Ontwikkeling, Sound Design, 3D Animatie en Independent Game Productie. Vanwege de groei van het aantal studenten zijn we op zoek naar een extra 3D Game Art specialist om het team te versterken. Meer info over het curriculum via www.digitalartsandentertainment.be

De feitelijke opdracht/functie-inhoud zal voornamelijk bestaan uit het geven van 3D gerelateerde cursussen en het coachen van studenten, zowel online als op locatie.

The Digital Arts & Entertainment (DAE) curriculum is among the best in the world in the field of games & VFX education. Within the DAE curriculum we educate Technical Artists (TA) who are able to bridge the gap between artist and developer.

The DAE program has 6 majors: 3D Production & VFX, Game Graphics Production, Game Development, Sound Design, 3D Animation and Independent Game Production. The actual assignment/job content will exist mainly out of teaching 3D related courses and coaching of students, both online and on site.

Profiel

Vereist Diploma En Kennis

• Minimum Bachelor diploma
• Je bezit goede mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en Engels.
• C1 attest Engels of bereid om dit te behalen
  

Indien je over een buitenlands diploma beschikt, met uitzondering van Nederland, dient een gelijkwaardigheidsattest van NARIC (www.naric.be) toegevoegd te worden.

• Minimum Bachelor degree
• You have good oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
• C1 certificate in English or willing to obtain it
  

If you have a foreign diploma, with the exception of the Netherlands, a certificate of equivalence from NARIC (www.naric.be) must be added.

• Gevorderde kennis van en inzicht in de 3D Game Asset Pipeline
• Substance Painter en Designer
• Kennis van de low-poly high-poly baking pipeline
• Principes van PBR
• o Low- en high-poly modellering
• o Toegepast in de context van een game engine
• In staat zijn om mooie en kwalitatief hoogwaardige props en omgevingen te maken voor AAA games
• Ervaring met Maya, Blueprints, Python en basis Procedural 3D in Houdini
• Een leergierige en nieuwsgierige persoonlijkheid die een passie heeft voor het leren van nieuwe vaardigheden in een evoluerende industrie
• Een studentikoze houding
• Bereid om een didactische opleiding te volgen indien nodig

• Advanced knowledge of and insight in the 3D Game Asset Pipeline
• Substance Painter and Designer
• Knowledge of the low-poly high-poly baking pipeline
• Principles of PBR
• Low and highpoly modelling
• Applied in the context of a game engine
• Being able to make beautiful and high-quality props and environment for AAA games
• Experience with Maya, Blueprints, Python and basic Procedural 3D in Houdini
• An inquisitive and curious personality that has a passion for learning new skills in an evolving industry
• A student minded attitude
• Willing to undergo didactical training if deemed
  

Ervaring

• Bij voorkeur een aantal jaar relevante werkervaring in de AAA game-industrie
• Bij voorkeur een aantal jaar onderwijservaring
• Preferably several years professional and relevant working experience in the AAA games industry
• Preferably a couple of years teaching experience
