BelGaN bouwt de basis voor de "GaN ValleyTM", een groeiend en innovatief ecosysteem voor GaN-gebaseerde chips en vermogenselektronica met toepassingen in elektrische voertuigen, industriële toepassingen, datacenters en hernieuwbare energiemarkten in Europa en daarbuiten. De BelGaN-site in Oudenaarde telt 450 medewerkers.

Als Test Ingenieur werk je in het BelGaN Yield en Integratie team. Dit team is verantwoordelijk voor de eerste elektrische testen op onze afgewerkte wafers. Analyse van de data en snel en adequaat terugkoppelen naar de Fab ingenieurs, is daarbij cruciaal voor het garanderen van de kwaliteit van onze BelGaN devices. Daarnaast zorgt dit team voor een vlotte integratie in productie, van de door R&D ontwikkelde technologieën.

Wat doe je concreet als Test ingenieur bij BelGaN?

• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het opzetten en verbeteren van het testen van discrete GaN power devices
• Je programmeert de test code en optimaliseert de testtijd en kost
• Je drijft de selectie, aankoop en installatie van ATE hardware (Automated Test Equipment)
• Je bent de interface tussen de BelGaN yield/R&D teams en externe Test bedrijven
• Je analyzeert de test resultaten met behulp van commerciële software pakketten.
• Je zorgt voor een succesvolle integratie van Device testing in een productie omgeving.
  
  

BelGaN is building the foundation for the "GaN ValleyTM," a growing and innovative ecosystem for GaN-based chips and power electronics with applications in electric vehicles, industrial applications, data centers and renewable energy markets in Europe and beyond. The BelGaN site in Oudenaarde employs 450 people.

As a Test Engineer you work in the BelGaN Yield and Integration team. This team is responsible for the first electric screening of finished wafers. Analyzing the results and providing adequate feedback to the Fab engineering team is crucial for guaranteeing device quality. The team also ensures smooth integration into production of the technologies developed by R&D.

As Test Engineer at BelGaN, you have the following tasks:

• You are responsible for the setup of the electrical testing of discrete GaN power devices
• You develop the test code and drive test time and cost reductions
• You drive the ATE hardware selection, purchase and installation
• You act as interface between BelGaN teams (Yield engineering team and R&D team) and external test houses.
• You are responsible for yield reporting and improvement databases with yield data coming from different companies, using commercially available software packages.
• You are responsible for device test integration in a production environment
  
  

Requirements

Is het iets voor jou?

• Je hebt een Master diploma in de Ingenieurswetenschappen (Electronica) of Natuurkunde.
• Je hebt een ervaring als Test Ingenieur, bij voorkeur op power halfgeleider devices. Ervaring als product ingenieur is een voordeel.
• Je hebt praktijkervaring met ATE inclusief wafer probers
• Je hebt kennis van programmeren en bent bereid nieuwe programmeertalen te leren.
• Je bent analytisch ingesteld, je houdt van organiseren
• Je bent proactief en hands-on
• Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en het Engels en je bent klantgericht
  
  

Is this something for you?

• You have a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics
• You have Test engineering experience of semiconductor devices such as power discretes. Product engineering experience is an advantage.
• You have working knowledge of ATE equipment including probers
• The ability to program and learn new programming languages is a must
• You are analytical, you like to organize
• You are proactive and hands-on
• You communicate effectively in Dutch and English and have a customer-oriented approach
