UX Designer

Function

We are currently looking for a UX Strategist/Designer : a design thinker and doerwho creates relevant user experiences.

As user research and design are essential components in our projects, these are your core skills. You are an analytical and innovative designer, strong in grasping user needs. You dig deeper into ‘problems’ finding value for users and business alike. You transform insights and ideas into interaction concepts. You use a range of UX research skills to understand the user and user needs. You create engaging presentations for the stakeholders to communicate the concepts.

You will be part of our global team of UX designers, acting in the front end of the design process for UX related developments across Barco.

Key Responsibilities

  • You develop strategic, user-focused digital experiences for multiple key audiences.
  • You identify and create user personas based key audiences
  • You drive efficiencies through metric driven findings.
  • You produce UX roadmaps
  • You lead quantitative and qualitative UX research programs
  • You understand product specifications and user psychology;
  • You come up with innovative approaches to solve user needs;
  • You conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback;
  • You keep informed of competitor products and industry trends.
