Job DescriptionAt Telenet Business we make a differences for companies. How do we do so? By offering both connectivity and ICT solutions to medium-sized and large corporations. Our client portfolio ranges from public, healthcare and educational institutions to carrier customers including international voice, data and internet service providers.
We’re further expanding and our commercial activies vary from transational sales to complex projects. Our high-demanding clients are looking for high-quality integrated solutions. To meet their requests we’re building a brand new solutions department, focussing on P&L ownership, product strategy and sale and client-interaction.
To strengthen the commercial impact of our product and soltuions portfolio we’re hiring a Vice-President Solutions.
Your Tasks As VP Solutions
As Vice-President Solutions you will develop and execute the business strategy and portfolio of products and solutions for our B2B clients. Expanding our clients’s existing telecom, networking and security solutions, you’ll focus on broader and integrated solutions ranging from cloud platforms and services, unified communication & collaboration to IoT and 5G. You’ll lead a division of 120 employees and will report to the Executive VP Telenet Business.
As The Vice-President Solutions You’re Responsible For
- Creating a long-term strategy to effectively and profitably develop and deploy our producxts and solutions. You inspire a client-centric and customer-oriented vision and strategy and set a roadmap for all relevant domains.
- Taking ownership of the success of the different solutions in the market. You’ll assure that the account managers are sufficiently supported to have in-depth and strategic discussions with the clients about a wide scale of solutions.
- Working closely with the executive management to align the strategy to the overall organisational goals, objectives and revenue plan.
- Collaborating and motivating different stakeholders in sales, marketing, presales, solution management, engineering & operations.
- Guarding the financial KPIs.
- Directly leading the management team of the different business units/solutions teams, involving profiles in presales, product management and specialized sales. You’re a servant leader and you manage to engage the involved teams and people in the vision and strategy through a convincing management style.
- Establishing transversal roles and developing integrated offerings of products, services and processes, including SLA management, pricing, vendor management and managed services.
- Maintaining end-to-end ownership of the products and solutions; you’re capable to follow up on the strategy execution by the commercial teams in their day to day interactions with the clients.
- Strengthening our commercial activities in close collaboration with the VP Sales.

- You hold a degree in engineering, informatics, telecom or similar. An MBA is a strong asset.
- You look back on over 15 years of experience in a leadership role at a telecom operator, at an ICT integrator or a service providor for cloud, security, network infrastructure or similar.
- You have experience in product development and solution management in a b2b context in at least one of following fields: telecom (fixed and mobile), UC&C, datacenter/cloud, cybersecurity, networking.
- Ideally you have worked in a commercial salesdriven position.
- You understand the main processes within telecom and IT service delivery, such as order management, provisioning, ticketing, billing.
- You keep up with the latest trends and insights in technology.
- You’re at home in a fast-paced, entrepreneural environment, working in cross-funcional teams where sales, engineering, product and operations profiles work closely together.
