???? We’re Hiring! Freelance Medior/Senior Architect – Lead for International Projects (Data Centers, Offices,…) ????️

???? Location: Genval, Belgium + site visits (1-2 days per week, personal vehicle necessary)

???? Contract: Freelance (full-time or part-time)

Group Sigma is a specialized architectural firm known for delivering high-end, complex projects, including pharma manufacturing plants and data centers. We are looking for a talented Freelance Architect (medior/senior) to join our team for a major data center project in Belgium.

Your Role & Responsibilities

???? Oversee and manage the detailed design and construction follow-up of a large data center project.

???? Act as a team leader, mentoring junior architects and ensuring seamless collaboration with engineers and consultants.

???? Serve as the main point of contact for the client, both the international HQ and local representatives.

???? Work closely with technical engineering teams (engineering-led project) to ensure alignment across disciplines.

???? Ensure compliance with fire prevention and safety regulations.

???? Utilize Revit for design and coordination.

???? Conduct regular site visits (1-2 days per week) to oversee progress and coordination.

Your Profile

✔ 5+ years of experience in architecture, ideally on industrial or technical projects.

✔ Strong leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to work autonomously.

✔ Experience in international and multicultural projects.

✔ Experience in Belgian Code (Fire Prevention, etc)

✔ Fluency in English and French is required; French is a plus.

✔ Proficiency in Revit and knowledge of BIM environments.

✔ Technical expertise, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory requirements.

✔ A car is necessary for regular site visits (1-2 days per week).
