Job Description:

We’re thrilled to welcome an experienced Network Engineer, fluent in both Dutch and English, to our dynamic team. If you bring 4-5 years of expertise in Networking & Security, with a strong grasp of switching, routing, firewalling, VPN, Loadbalancing, Wireless, etc., you might be the perfect fit.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and configuration of technical components within our solutions
  • Engage with various customer environments, occasionally participating in on-site visits
  • Manage the integration and maintenance of diverse network components (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, proxies, wireless technologies, etc.)
  • Dive deep into situations, exploring potential solutions and improvements
  • Create accurate documentation, instructions, and procedures, keeping them up-to-date
  • Prioritize maximum customer satisfaction through close collaboration with colleague

Your Profile:

  • Passionate about Networking & Security
  • Comfortable working independently, not afraid to take initiative to find the best solutions, and always thinking in collaboration with the customer
  • A team player with a strong customer focus
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with an analytical mindset
  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree or possess extensive experience in the network field
  • Product certifications or general network/security certifications are a plus
  • Experience and/or interest in technologies such as Switching, Routing (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VRF, MPLS), Firewalling (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), VPN, Proxy (Bluecoat), Loadbalancing (F5), Wireless (Aruba), SSLVPN (F5), Authentication systems (VASCO/RSA...)
  • Fluent in English
  • Your experience positions you well for growth in this role
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, and willing to work in a rotating on-call system
