On behalf of client we are looking for abusiness/functional analyst to strengthen the ITS BI & Data team. This position is required on site 1 a 2 days per week. As an analyst you will be responsible for analysing & interpreting the business requirements and translating them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Next to that, you will also participate in the setup of the “demand management” and facilitate workshops on specific business challenges/objectives.

You will work closely with the different business departments (Product Owners) to understand their (data) needs & challenges and translate these into functional specifications for the development team. You will also support the coordination of User Acceptance Testing.

Required skills

​

· At least 5 years of relevant work experience in business/functional analysis, preferably within BI / Data

· Experience in software development (buy and build), process improvements and/or business improvements

· Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into user stories with acceptance criteria

· Experience in building structured backlogs and facilitating prioritization

· Ability to prepare and facilitate workshops

· Strong experience in communication with business stakeholders and development teams

· Experience in designing “dashboard mock-ups”

· Ability to identify and propose improvements to the existing functional design

· Experience with Agile frameworks and methods

· An interest in Data Science and reporting (Qlik Sense is a plus)

· Prior experience in Biotech / Pharma (incl. GxP) is a big plus

· Strong interpersonal skills (establishing and maintaining constructive stakeholder relations, collaboration, influencing & convincing)

· Critical, accurate and correct

· Can work in a structured way and is able to maintain the documentation on Confluence

· Able to communicate fluently in English (Dutch is an advantage)
