Our client is a main provider of software developing services in the transport industry, based in Brussels with offices close to a main railway station.

Job Description :

  • You will analyse business processes, systems, and requirements to identify areas for improvement and optimization;
  • You will work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and development teams to gather and record user requirements;
  • You will convert user requirements into detailed functional specifications that act as a guide for software development and implementation;
  • You will performing data analysis to recognize trends, patterns, and insights that aid in making informed business decisions and refining processes;
  • You will collaborate with technical teams to ensure that the functional design aligns with technical capabilities and limitations;
  • You will create documentation in accordance with the Agile principles using Atlassian software, including user manuals, training materials, ...;
  • You will conduct user acceptance testing to validate system functionality and ensure it fulfills user requirements;
  • You will make sure to stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to functional analysis;
  • You will provide support and training to end-users.

Requirements :

  • You have a Bachelor degree, preferably in an IT- related domain;
  • You have at least 5 years of experience as a business analyst or as Functional / Technical Analyst;
  • Having knowledge of the Atlassian applications Jira and Confluence is a plus;
  • You have good analytical skills, you can share knowledge and you are willing to continue to learn;
  • You can work in a team and you have good interpersonal skills;
  • You have excellent communication skills;
  • You are customer oriented and result oriented, you have a strong sense of responsibility;
  • You have good active knowledge of English, both spoken and written. You are fluent in Dutch and/or French.
