What you will do as General accounting officer :

• You will prepare the monthly accounting closures in close cooperation with the Controlling department (local and IFRS standards).
• You are responsible for the mandatory structural surveys and the preparation of the annual accounts.
• You ensure the preparation and timely submission of all tax returns for the entities (VAT, annual tax return).
• You will ensure the monitoring of the main accounting indicators and develop the necessary control and monitoring tools.
• You reconcile and justify the balance sheet accounts and detect and report on the risks and opportunities they present.
• You highlight anomalies in the processes for which you are responsible, and you implement the necessary actions to resolve them.
• You participate in internal and external audits.
• You report to the Accounting & Tax Supervisor.

Who we are lookig for :

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree in an economic or accounting field,
• You have at least 3 years experience in a GL position (a first experience in an audit firm is a plus for this position),
• You have an analytical mind and a good capacity to formalise a problem and to organise and implement its resolution,
• Ability to work independently with the sense of priorities and the respect of the deadlines.
• You have the ability to work both independently and in a team,
• You are IT-minded and are able to master new tools very quickly.
• You are open to IT tools,
• You have a good knowledge of NL, FR and EN, all spoken and written.
