The Sustainability Analyst will enable the company’s efforts to scale and accelerate adoption of sustainable business practices that support our ability to achieve our goals globally or regionally. In this role, you will identify and deploy data driven mechanisms to bring sustainable solutions to customers. You will provide advanced knowledge to lead the process of sustainability impact modeling and accounting for the defined suitability programs globally or regionally, including life cycle assessment methodology and process, volumetric benefit accounting and quality impact calculation, emissions accounting or other related sustainability targets.
Key Accountabilities
- Establish best practices for the modeling methodology of the defined sustainability targets, such as greenhouse gas, water, land use change impacts of products or other focus area.
- Lead the process in collaboration with the businesses and key internal stakeholders, tracking and accounting for progress toward various sustainability targets requirements and develop business intelligence solutions to enable data driven decision making.
- Implement and operationalize a consistent process for impact quantification methodology being applied within company, providing coaching, process support and oversight to internal sustainability practitioners as they apply this process and account for various sustainability targets.
- Establish and maintain a portfolio of tools and resources.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Confirmed experience of impact modeling and accounting for various agricultural practices, such as climate, water, land use change or other focus area
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Confirmed experience in life cycle assessment methodologies and software
