We are currently searching for a Global VAT Manager to join the company who will report to the Regional Tax Leader. This is a newly created position with a large amount of oversight. The group operates on an international scale, offering interesting and challenging VAT work.

Your main responsabilities will be to:

· Provide Indirect Tax advice to the business on finance operations, supply chain changes, commercial transactions and legislative changes.

· Advice the business on global Indirect Tax issues, ensuring tax risk is managed appropriately for all commercial and corporate operations.

· Own the Global Indirect Tax compliance and reporting process ensuring accurate and timely filing; Work closely with the internal and external VAT compliance teams, the Regional Tax leaders and the Finance IT group to constantly improve indirect tax reporting efficiency and accuracy through process improvement and system assessments.

· Conduct risk and control analysis for indirect tax processes and identify areas where controls can be enhanced.

· Formulate and drive wider VAT/Indirect Tax strategy of the group.

Profile required :

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Law or Economy and ideally 10 years of work experience in similar capacity in a Global MNC/Business or Big 4 firm

· You have good communication skills written and verbal and proven ability to develop strong professional relationship with internal and external parties

· You have professional interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills and high level of attention to detail

· You are able to technically discuss with Regional Tax, Global Tax Controllership team, our local Corporate CIT providers and Auditors where necessary.

· You have advanced computer software skills, including Excel and accounting packages (Oracle and Sage Preferable) and an excellent time management skills

Remote working locations will be considered but must be prepared to travel.
