Purpose of the Job

Form and manage RR innovation strategy, focus and concept by:
  • Deep understanding of macro trends/policy
  • Close interaction with customer and automotive industry
Your Role
  • Customer and Technology watch – industry trends, customers’ characteristics and needs, emerging technology and roadmap tire, competition and IP screening;
  • Support set-up of SFA (Strategic Focused Area) definition (X+5) and lead the portfolio adjustment in SFA (X+1) to achieve the defined SFA objectives aligned with Innovation Business Plan;
  • Lead (pre-)Discovery process and feed pipeline with new initiatives including business concept, lead customer and application scope based on innovation process;
  • Provide Market & Customer Inputs on (re-)positioning new innovations and critical changes of initiatives in incubation/ acceleration process;
Your Profile
  • Deep understanding to the automotive industry and strong connection with tire industry
  • Strong story telling ability to have strategic dialogue
  • Strong ability to organize cross-functional platforms
  • Solid technical & business acumen
  • Comfortable in managing ambiguity and strong resilience to uncertainty
  • Master degree with mechanical / material / chemical background, MBA is preferable
  • Excellent communication in English
  • Prefer to locate in Europe
