Virya Energy is a holding company active in the development, financing, construction and operation of renewable energy sources, with a particular focus on wind energy. It was established at the end of 2019 by Colruyt Group and its majority shareholder Korys and currently operates over 1.2 GW of energy production capacity internationally.
Virya Energy owns 100% stakes in Parkwind, Eurowatt, Eoly Energy and Sanchore. The holding is set to advance wind energy technologies by integrating value chains between production, storage and distribution of energy often including community ownership.
Based in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium, Virya Energy currently employs 15 professionals.

To reinforce our HR & Communications team, we are looking for an assistant to perform a variety of administrative tasks and maintain our services to the different entities : Parkwind, Eoly Energy and Virya Energy.


If you are passionate about HR & Communications, this position is for you. You will gain HR experience in a fast-paced working environment by supporting and improving all HR services.


Responsibility and tasks :

You will give administrative assistance to the entire HR department: HR General, HR Business & Development and Communication.

You will assist in the daily follow-up of the HR General team. Our HR General team manages the recruitment & selection process, compensation & benefits and fleet of the different entities.

  • Support to payroll by the follow up of the expenses management and creation of reports;
  • Support the Recruitment & Selection process by collaborating with the recruiter to post job ads on career pages. Process answers to potential candidates, spontaneous candidates and potential agencies. Admin support to the creation of our talent pool;
  • Admin support in general such as updating HR data, time registration, assistance in the process of welcoming newcomers, communications to the employees, etc;

Within the HR B&D team, our main focus is unlocking the full potential of our employees, you will support the HR Business Partners in the coordination of several HR processes:

  • You will be in charge of the user management within our Performance Management Tool and help drive the performance management cycle by setting up meeting routines;
  • You will play a key role in the coordination of external trainings; from coordination with vendors to training registration, training evaluation and reporting.

The Communication Team stands behind the building of the Virya Energy image as well as promote and uphold internal culture at Virya Energy entities.

  • As support for communications, you will be involved in the daily content and data management of the intranet;
  • You will assist with event organization (both external and internal); including aspects such as the development of promotional materials.

In your role, you will take ownership of the invoicing process for the entire HR department.


Your profile:

  • You obtained a Bachelor’s degree and have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch and have a good knowledge of French;
  • You have excellent organizational skills, work accurately with respect for deadlines and have the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially;
  • As you will be supporting the entire HR department, you are a true team player who is hands-on and able to prioritize tasks;
  • Ability to effectively use computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel;
  • You are mainly based in our Leuven office and able to work from Braine l’Alleud when requested.
