A great job opportunity as HR Generalist !

Description

Our client, an international company active in the consulting and technology solutions is looking for their new HR Generalist / Business Partner for their Belgian HR Team.

Your main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and monitor the implementation of HR activities to support the Belgian teams, from onboarding to offboarding, employee lifecycle changes (promotions/role changes) and other internal processes.
  • Support regional and global HR projects alongside E&A and US colleagues.
  • Regular use and analysis of HR data from our HRIS system Workday, including but not limited to; reports on turnover attrition, goals, feedback, self-evaluations, compensation planning.
  • Support the Senior HRBP/ Manager in Belgium with how HR data can be used to support positive business outcomes.
  • Coach and guide middle level managers in managing ER issuesResponsible for updating policies and procedures and HR information on the intranet. For example; any benefit changes or joint committee regulation or legislation, and posting regular presentation recordings on benefits.
  • Set up of mobility policy, work from home policy, internet at home, follow up legislation and make proposals, financial analysis & recommendation for the leadership.
  • Review communicate to employees of 13th month, holiday pay, eco vouchers, sectorial premium, sport & culture vouchers.
  • Ad Hoc reports preparation for Finance for annual leave, benefits cost, recognition scheme payroll implementation and invoices, and temporary unemployment.
  • Temporary unemployment: calendar preparation and check for exact days worked, collating input from all managers, last minute changes, preparing for payroll input, workday update with any change for each employee. Reconcile Maconomy (timesheets) & Payroll data, reach out to managers in case of discrepancies, make changes to payroll when required.

Your profile

  • Bachelor or Master in Law, Economy, Management
  • You are Fluent in French and English
  • At least 3-5 years of generalist Belgium HR experience gained in a professional services environment.
  • Excellent and up-to-date knowledge of Belgium Employment law and its application in daily processes.
  • Experience of HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Workday). Excellent in Word, Powerpoint, Excel
  • Experience working in a global environment would be an advantage.
