The purpose of this position is to ensure that all aspects of the HR function are delivered, developed
and monitored, to meet the growth, scale and changing needs of the business.
Responsibilities include management of the local day to day HR operations and administration to
ensure all is appropriate and on time, in close cooperation with the HR Manager and local Management.
In addition the role includes assisting the local Managers by providing input from both an HR and an
organizational aspect into all strategic and project related decisions as well as providing an overall HR
direction to the company.
You are responsible for all payroll and personnel administration, in cooperation with the HR Manager
and payroll provider, and for obtaining all necessary information for payroll processing and personnel
administration.
You constantly update all personnel files, you are responsible for providing updates/memo’s/trainings
to all personnel and for all input regarding payroll processing.
The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to
deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.
You are responsible for acting in a safe and environmentally conscious manner.

You participate in/are in the lead for HR related projects, coordinated by the HR Mgr
As you are the first point of contact for employee relations, you play an important role in the company communication and company events
You are the contact for the temp agencies and you establish and maintain work regulations and related HR company policies as well as company job descriptions, together with the HR Manager
You assist the HR Manager for all recruitment tasks : advertisements, job fairs, selection of candidates for vacant positions. You help organize, support, coordinate the implementation and management of company training plans
You participate to the coordination of the well-being projects at work: ergonomic rules, medical check-ups, atmosphere,…
You coordinate the follow-up of extra-legal benefit schemes, social legislation,…
You are the first contact re implementation, follow-up, reply to questions from employees, for the time & attendance system
You support the HR Manager for additional tasks if needed (f.e. KPI’s,…)
In case of Work Accidents, you do the follow up
You order phones, subscriptions, cars, fuel cards, VISA’s, … if required.
You work in close contact with the Prevention Advisor
You implement all necessary trainings and you promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
You manage the fleet (order process, fuel cards, …)

Safety : compliancy to prevention measures and safety measures. All unsafe situations must be reported immediately to the prevention advisor or HR manager.

Environment : compliancy to environment rules, and obtain environmental company objectives
GDP : compliancy to GDP rules, in case of violation to GDP rules please inform your manager or quality department

Profiel

Expert level of Dutch and French language
Advanced level of Word and Excel

Quality driven : proactive and maintain quality level for your own work and others

Job related requirements Level

Proven experience as an HR Generalist
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
Aptitude in problem-solving
Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
Proactive attitude
Being able to work independent
