For EOC Group (HQ in Oudenaarde) we are now hiring an HR Manager.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources organization as well as developing, implementing and driving a variety of projects in support of the overall corporate strategy. The scope is the HR support of Belgian units, but will be extended to other European units.

Responsibilities

Manage (modernize, standardize and simplify) the efficient execution of the full (transactional) employment cycle

  • Ensure smooth execution of compensation, payroll & benefits; standardize and simplify grading, reward policy including bonus plan.
  • Organization and follow-up of talent acquisition
  • Organization of payroll, pensions, social and legal compliance, workers council and unions
  • Setting up (KPI-based) performance management and feedback
  • Regional employment practice alignment
  • Data management, integrity, and security (GDPR)
  • On-boarding/off-boarding
  • Identify opportunities for continuous evolution and improvement
  • Implement tools (where needed and in a pragmatic manner) successfully

Develop and implement a Leadership development plan and succession planning

  • Enhance 3-year approach, fitting to EOC and its culture and values
  • Focus on developing business driven leaders and their capabilities to be successful in the new world, including digital and data capabilities
  • Create performance driven culture
  • Drive diversity & inclusivity agenda, sustainability and Health& Safety/wellbeing of all employees.

Enhance Employer branding for EOC as a global company, further roll out new ways of working

  • Follow-up of employee satisfaction
  • Partner with Marketing to elevate all (internal) communications in line with above inputs

Manage day-to-day the HR Team

  • Create a team dedicated to excellence
  • Achieve operational excellence in transactional HR Processes
  • Motivate, guide and assist the HR team in achieving short and long term results
  • Daily organization (staffing, leave, etc.) of the department
  • Monitoring and promoting the team spirit

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree or equivalent through experience
  • Proven experience with HR
  • International experience is a plus
  • Min. 8 years of experience in HR, minimum 3 years in a leading (management) role
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral & written) in Dutch and English
  • Hands-on, natural, empatic and dynamic leader.
